Bright gold. Apples and white flowers on the inviting nose. Juicy acidity wrapped in a medium bodied palate of dried apples, white flowers, and lemon zest with a slight nutty quality added on the moderate finish. Premier expression of Burgundy's "other white grape," Aligote. Bright enough for seafood but with enough body for poultry, sausages, or root vegetables. And of course a nice base for the classic Kir.
