Like a good bottle should - this took hours to drink. So powerful and lingering, dense in its depth and evolving over the 10 hours of decanting. Super smooth for a Cab Franc—was quite surprised. But later learned it’s 100% destemmed, which makes sense. It’s really delicious. Earthy. Paired well with wagyu, baby potatoes, a corn cacio e pepe dumpling, and did not overpower a selection of nigiri. — 6 months ago

I truly believe that texture is what separates good wines from great wines. The texture creates the magic in your mouth and it seems to me that perfecting a wines texture is a skill that only the truly best winemakers have been able to capture. It's the elusive quality that really makes a wine world-class for me. I'm a big fan of Guiberteau. This wine was so polished and refined. Silky Cab Franc. It also had a wonderful "greeness," in a fully resolved, gorgeous bouquet of green herbs way and not in the harsh, under ripe, pyrizines way. Terrific. — 3 months ago
