Piercing acidity and citrus fruit but not much length. Nice wine, but Not to my taste. — 6 months ago
Figs and ripe sweet fruit on the nose, with hints of smoked meat, like jerky, and deep rose and candied hibiscus nestled deep. Medium bodied, with quick, nice legs, with a floral palate, smooth and lithe, with silky acidity just starting to soften, vegetal notes, prominent florals more than defineable red fruit, and silky tannins that lead to a dry, lingering but still floral and fresh finish. Maybe even a hit of menthol showing at the end. — 2 years ago
Nose is unabashedly Chenin. Almond skin, wool, green apple, grilled nuts and more. Gorgeous with that Mosel slate humming in the background. Palate is so intense. Wow! Acidity and gorgeous Chenin flavors and this is alive. Reminds me of the basis Saumur from Guiberteau. Serious structure and just an amazing wine from very very young vines. As it airs the Mosel slate is humming. Terrific concentration, texture and mouthfeel. Long finish. Overnight this got insane. Huge confectionary nose. Outrageous. — a month ago

Vibrant, juicy, so fresh, alive!
Green apples, green grass, a hint of green apricot, some lemongrass. Highly enticing. Not flint like Sancerre, no exotic canned fruit like NZ. Fresh, green, grassy.
On the palate this has a round, slightly creamy mouthfeel but remains focused, light, appley juicy, vibrant. A slightly herby, salty bitter edge adds an interesting edge and a bit of nice complexity.
Closer to a Chenin Blanc (think Guiberteau) than a typical SB.
Slightly cloudy, incredibly drinkable.
