Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of about an hour. No formal notes. Sourced from an acre parcel right next to Gouttes d’Or, the 2022 “En Luraule” is richly textured and endowed with good fruit, character and substance. A touch reductive. My first experience with Jobard and hope to cross paths with it again sometime; especially with more time. 50/50 barrique and foudre; the former approximately 20% new. Drink now through 2037. — 5 months ago
Wonderful taut wine. The fruit pops on the mid-palette and the finish is clean with a slight tang. Had it with a maple-miso roasted salmon and it was spot on, and had it with some sous vide short ribs (with a reduction of this same wine) and it stood up nicely. — 7 months ago

First bottle of a Jobard wine in many years. Top notch at its level, very mineral and long in the mouth. — 9 months ago
