Young, but only needs a few years. Elegant and excellent. — 3 months ago
Slightly deeper ruby compared to the Gevrey , with quite wide garnet rim . Denser more closed nose , darker fruits , cassis , dark cherry , touch of baking spice . On the palate quite taut and refined with more tannin , more mineral with a dark cherry , cassis notes . More noticeable tannin , polished but present, good fresh acidity and good length . This needs a little more time 2 or 3 years perhaps and will last well a further 5 -8 . A step up in complexity and persistence from the Gevrey 1er Cru . — 4 months ago
This is a great burgundy — pure flavor, clear, bright red fruit, medium acid, low tannins. At $75, it’s a good value, although I may still prefer the Domaine Coquard at $55 even more. — 14 days ago

Dujac undoubtedly made some of the very best 08’s, and tonight the Echezeaux is just superb, with a captivating violet-licorice and coffee bean inflicted perfume, and a deep, expansive and powerful palate that continued to gain in weight and intensity with air, concluding with a saline-mineral laced finale that keeps on going. Stunning wine. — a month ago

Youthful needing some air showing dark berry, lots of spice with the classic Dujac stems, earth, crushed rock & violet — 6 days ago
