A Pinot not Chardonnay. CVed 8/28/17 Burg Jura comp but no records of notes. Perhaps due to lack of database on red vs Chard. Excellent wine. Medium garnet color dark berries and forest and minerals on border. Silky but also firm texture and long finish. Very balanced. On the more robust spectrum relative to de la Combe Au Renard from last two days. — 6 years ago
1er Cru - Combe Au Moine. Dried herbs, faint vanilla on nose. Palate of dark red fruit, orange peel. Smooth finish, with vanilla accents, strong tannic backbone. — 7 years ago

Some floral notes, dark fruit and oak on the nose and palate, of course way too young but shows good potential with a silky and velvety texture despite a finish slightly rustic for a Chambolle.
Des notes florales et surtout de fruits noirs avec du bois encore bien perceptible au nez comme en bouche, le vin est naturellement trop jeune mais a un beau potentiel, la bouche est de belle intensité avec une texture veloutée, du fruit, du volume, mais sur une finale qui est pour l’heure un peu rustique pour un Chambolle, mais le potentiel est là. 90-91 — 5 years ago
Nose of plums, forest floor with fresh fallen flower petals. Taste is of plums, black tea, Forest, raspberry, mushroom. I really like this. Opened up after an hour of pulling cork and really excellent after 2+. — 7 years ago
Très surpris , acheté au domaine il y'a oooouuuuuhhh , au mois 8 ans , je vin s est discipliné, équilibré, finale mentholée , belle amplitude en bouche , loin des derniers bus , qui étaient lourds , monolithiques

Yes, the 2002 is indeed delicious without that metallic Notes marring the ’03. Complex, earthy but light on its feet, just what you want for a Burg! Oh wait, the others are au Renard — 4 years ago
This beauty from the ‘93 vintage still delivers everything that make Burgundy worth cellaring: soft red fruit, subtle oak/spice and a smack of acid on the finish. This wine will easily last another 20+ years... — 7 years ago

CVed 12/29/16. As I remember it from years ago. Funky earthy notes and darker cherry notes that carry through to palate and long finish. Different wine from other three. Opened 1/21/17 at MRs dinner. Tasting the same. Crowd favorite. — 10 years ago
