Funky barnyard, floral, perfumed nose, quickly transforms into an earthy ripe red berry nose, oak, baking spice. Almost like a pinot noir.
On the palate, dry, red berries, well integrated tannins, high acidity, mushroom, crispy autumn leaves, forest floor, slight saline finish. I like! — 3 months ago
Fruit from historic 140 year old Bechtold Vineyard in Lodi. 13.4% ABV
this year, Ive had a few bottles of Cinsault from this vineyard from a few different wine makers. The Bonny Doon release has been the most fruit forward and super enjoyable.

A lot of minerality with some spice notes. The first white wine I’ve had that’s peppery. — 2 years ago
stone fruit, mineral, acid. Stays good in fridge for 2 weeks. With oxidation begins to have aromas of a late harvest Riesling — 6 months ago
The joy of Riesling from the Alsace. This was gift from my friends at Brix. I enjoyed the 2014 vintage on Christmas Day 2019. — a year ago
Smell is musky in an old refined way, bourbon, hibiscus, color is opaque magenta purple, light jam strawberry, rhubbarb, wet with acid over tannin, slightly sticky ending some metallic — 5 months ago
More is more! It’s one of those Honeysuckle, fermented pineapple, guava, wax sorta wines. You know, the usual. ;) This thing is bonkers and yet makes total sense at the same time, like Sleigh Bells or 100 gecs. — 7 months ago
