Serious depth here. It hits you at the front of the palate and has characteristic valdigue earth/mineral tones all over it. Making this an everyday drinker! — 9 days ago
May I introduce you to the skills of professional wine person, Michael Cruse. He’s a wizard - people think of him first for his sparkling, but this deeply complex bone dry Muscat from the Rorick vineyard makes it’s way into five total freaking barrels and he’s selling it for about $29. This is an underpriced very good buy.
Ambitious, big, intense, and if you find some fault here I’d love to know what it is. Unfiltered colors of pale hay. Your first impression is definitely lychee, then peach, tangerine, vanilla oak. — 4 months ago
Disclosure I love everything Michael Cruz makes. 2016 sitting for a few years was rich and lush and opened up to rose petal and cherry and plum. Wonderful and sad that was the last bottle. — 2 months ago
Very good, elegant rosé pet nat. Semi dry, strawberry, not overly funky. — 4 months ago
I dunno... I think I love this more than ultramarine. Has better acid, that flintyness, and balance. — 5 months ago
