Nice, well-rounded CR, open and charming with lovely freshness. Fruity and brisk at first, slowly developed with more savory and floral nuances coming out with air. Day 2 was rocking. Black cherry/roast plum, violet, garrigue, singed wood, dried olives, granite. — 4 years ago
What a nose. Gorgeous leather, flowers, beef blood, smoked meats, gamey, floral like crazy, so so aromatic. Superb aromas. 9.5 on the nose. So clean, layered and pure. Just a stunning nose. Truly a thing of beauty. Palate is silky, deep, substantial and gamey. Velvety tannins and terrific freshness. Long finish and super pure fruit on the palate. Significant tannins. So so elegant. What a wine. Terrific inner mouth aromas and so pretty. Inner mouth florals mixed with meats. Commentated and exquisite fruit. Totally whack wine. Best 14 CR I’ve had. — 5 years ago

Delicious and full of energy. Not as polished as the CR, but distinctly northern Rhone and really good. — 5 years ago
Another tasty CR special. Very good. Medium body with a little bit of fruit but mostly smooth and spicy finish. — 4 years ago
18.5. First and second bottles of a case, tried several years ago, were hopeless - murky, flat. So gave up but didn’t discard the remaining 10, which resurfaced recently. My son and my ex-wife tried one a week ago and said wonderful. Last night, I confirmed that. No excessive wood, indeedno flaws. Nose best early on, faded a bit. But mouthfeel, fruit and length exceptional. An outstanding CR - definitely superior to Chapoutier la Mordoree 2005 that I had last week, which was fine but not outstanding. — 5 years ago
