Traditional Northeast Italian blend of Rondinella (20%) Molinara (10%), Corvina (50%) and Corvinone (20%). Dark ruby color. Aromas of red cherry jam, cranberry, baking spices, Forrest Floor and red/purple flowers. Pallet is rich with flavors of cooked cherry fruit, red currants, baking spices, vanilla and black pepper spice. Relatively light in body style with lively acidity. Smooth tannins. It was the right call to drink this one young. Better on the second day. — 2 years ago

So I had the 2018 vintage last year with a veal cotelet this year it came with the braised beef and wow is that a combination! Both dish and wine lift eachother. Young but very powerful Amarone. Curious to find out how it will be somewhat older. And next…… on to Inter in the CL! Ama la! — 9 months ago
Needs air at this young age but quickly hits its stride. Really fragrant, with zesty, ripe berries, spice, a yeasty, fresh bread note, and mineral-flecked turned gravel. Loads of upfront fruit, but in a dry package with zingy acids. Slight bitter note complements the fruit. So pure tasting and food flexible. Textbook. — 2 years ago

Full bodied, smooth and elegant, with medium acidity and long legs.
Dry and very fruity on the palate with black currants, sweet plums, cooked cherries, oak, light vanilla, spices, tobacco, peppercorn, espresso, chocolates, earth, herbs and licorice.
Spicy long finish with fine grained tannins and tangy cherries.
This 14 year old Amarone is still delicious, with a beautiful color and a great nose. Tangy and very spicy.
Elegant and fruit forward. Easy drinking and good right out of the bottle.
Will not last much longer, so drink up if you have one.

Ondanks dat het een wijn met body is, voelt het heel licht. Niet dat tannine gevoel in mond en lippen, maar wel een diepe, volle smaak. — 3 months ago
