A blend of about 40% Corvina Veronese, 30% Corvinone, 25% Rondinella & 5% Sangiovese, deep Ruby with aromas of dried berry fruit and black pepper spice. On the palate flavors of blackberry and black cherry with vanilla, figs and licorice notes, good balance, lively acid with fine chewy tannins. The palate is more cooked black fruit focused (plum, blackberry, black currant) with touches of baking spices, chocolate and vanilla. Nice smoky and mineral notes on the very long finish. Dark ruby in color with a wide reddish/ brick rim.

Beautiful nose of blueberries, black plums, cooked cherries, oak, light licorice, earth, chocolates, tobacco leaf, light must, peppercorn, raisins, herbs, dried figs and light alcohol.

Full bodied, smooth and elegant, with medium acidity and long legs.

Dry and very fruity on the palate with black currants, sweet plums, cooked cherries, oak, light vanilla, spices, tobacco, peppercorn, espresso, chocolates, earth, herbs and licorice.

Spicy long finish with fine grained tannins and tangy cherries.

This 14 year old Amarone is still delicious, with a beautiful color and a great nose. Tangy and very spicy.

Elegant and fruit forward. Easy drinking and good right out of the bottle.

Will not last much longer, so drink up if you have one.
