A Paul Hobbs Argentinian Bordeaux style red. Blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (61%), Cabernet Franc (24%) and Malbec (15%). Blend of different vineyards. Deep ruby/purple color. Dark fruit (plums and blackberry) on the nose with plenty of purple flower and “green” aromas. The palate also features dark fruit (along with blueberry flavors) with a distinct note of pyrazine and more subtle hints of dark chocolate, sweet baking spices and a bit of graphite. Full bodied and quite a long finish. Silky tannins. Part of the North Shore House Wine Pairing Dinner on March 9, 2024. — a month ago

you’d never think a sangiovese / merlot / cab sav / syrah mix at this price point would have so much life to it — 3 months ago
The 2019 Carema Etichetta Bianca is laced with sweet pipe tobacco, cedar, mint, dried flowers, crushed rocks and Alpine herbs. This is an especially floral, savory vintage for the Etichetta Bianca, a wine that impresses with its energy, verve and class. The only thing missing here is a bit of freshness and depth. Beautiful wine! Ruby with a slight brown tinge. Red cherry, blueberry, and plum. Super smooth with a nice long finish. Great with our mushroom ravioli! — 20 days ago
