Decant! After 30 minutes, tannins soften to reveal layers of subtle flavors: floral and blackberry dominate with some barrel notes. After 60 minutes, some cola and plum flavor emerges. Purple, moderate pigment extraction, very good clarity. A very fresh grapey pour. — 13 days ago
On first open, the butter/malo notes are overpowering everything. Some fruit and acidity in there but hidden. Will see how it evolves with some air. — 2 days ago
Never had a Marlborough Pinot before. Was having duck, so Pinot an obvious choice. Loved this. Light, which is what I was after, and slight fruity. — 5 days ago
A fantastic bottling that is rich, bright and delicate at the same time. Fully integrated with lovely smoky and mineral notes. Long elegant finish.
The winery note states full development by 2022. Agreed but should have staying power for another 4-5 years. — a month ago
grapefruit notes, citrusy, pineapple notes, smells fresh and fruity, light, not much of an aftertaste, one of the best i’ve tried so far this semester and i don’t typically like whites — 2 days ago

1985 vintage. Nice fill. Excellent cork. Decanted and tasted after 15 minutes thru the 1.5 hours it lasted. Very little sed. Plenty of color. Light-medium body but got bigger and more developed after 45 mins or so. Tobacco, earth and cedar in spades along with dark fruit. This has plenty of life remaining at a high level. Wonderful stuff. 3.24.24. — 5 days ago
