At least 15 years of age on this VSOP from a family-owned producer. 40% abv. Very fragrant scotch-like vanilla oak and dried fruit. Complex and spicy finish. Goes well with dates and salted almonds as a digestif. Sipping it neat by a Christmas tree, but it also really wakes up with an ice cube🎄 Not Henny! 🙌 — 2 months ago
This is the best Cognac I have ever had. The end of a great bottle. Only 198 bottles made. Started with the 1922 vintage and topped up annually until August of 2013. Then bottled unfiltered. Rich, unctuous. Caramel, orange peel. Amazing depth and a several minute finish. Just incredible. — 23 days ago
Dark, raisin color. Nose of hot dogs (smoky?) and cognac. Cherry and spice. Very drinkable.
Ryan gives it a 94. — 24 days ago
The scent opens with rich honey, very dense, and then gives way to stewed apples and pears with just a little oak vanilla on the back end. The palette is all of that with an addition of dried flowers and black tea. The oak is nicely balanced here, not overpowering but enough to give backbone to the fruity and floral flavors. Black tea and violet finish. — 2 months ago
