Decanted about 30 minutes prior to service; enjoyed over the course of a few hours. The 2007 pours a deep ruby color with an opaque core; medium viscosity with moderate staining of the tears and some signs of light sediment. On the nose, the wine is vinous with powerful notes of ripe red and dark fruits: brambles, kirsch, plum, tobacco, purple flowers, green bell pepper, leather, cocoa, and earth. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ tannins and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium+. This is positively delightful right now and there are little signs of slowing down. Drink now through 2037. — 3 days ago

This is terrific. Nice blend of two off two lesser known grapes - 60% falanghina and 40% biancolella. Im obsessed with the pineapple aromas, lemon zest, and strong scents reminding me of sandcastles and seashores. It’s fresh, zippy, and crisp. — 10 months ago

A beautiful wine.

Nose: white flowers. Lemon. Mountain meadow. A hint of sponti.

Palate: so clean. Drinking a mountain stream. Finely powders minerals. Lemon flowers.

More than the sum of its parts. It has an elegance.

This wine seems to oscillate between very dense meursault and a wispy chassagne like thing from vintage to another. A huge swing.
