This is a very young Grenache blend from Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Complex and engaging. Nicely balanced and spicy. The high alcohol is well integrated already.
Ripe and fresh tasting at this point, and will continue to age nicely in the next 10 years.
Easy drinking and good by itself as a sipping wine.
A blend of 75% Grenache and 15% Syrah with some Mourvedre and Cinsault. Aged mostly in concrete vats for 12 months.

Probably from last Chambers sampler. 11/8/25 Cold Night. Very dark pour, potent scent out of bottle. Black fruits on nose. Moderate tannins. Solid sediments on second day. — 8 months ago
Delightful, well-balanced SB. Green apple, freshly mown grass, and the faintest green pepper. A bit of minerally zip like a light rain on gravel. — 9 months ago
Yet another overachieving ‘22 Provence rosé; very satisfying after recent Provence vintages produced a cloying totty fruity pop. White flowers with a pinch of pepper greets you on the first swill. There’s some nice pineapple juice in the middle palate that takes you unexpectedly to a dry finish. This is good stuff and certainly worth a try. — 3 years ago
Delicious, dark berries and earthy flavors — 5 years ago
2024 enjoyed 5/2026. tasted in lineup of Rhône Blanc, mostly rich and oily. this would have shown better if we started with this. I really like, I prefer the more mineral style -which is this. subtle white flowers, honeydew, under ripe peach. lemon curd showing after opening. — a month ago

Pretty red color with medium intensity.
Fresh red berries on the nose with light milk chocolates.
Medium plus in body with medium acidity.
Dry on the palate with cherries, red currants, light earth, light wood, spices, coffee, herbs and dark chocolates.
Long finish with fine grained tannins and tangy cherries.
This delicious 3 year old Grenache blend from Châteauneuf-du-Pape is starting to drink beautifully now, and will continue to age nicely in the next 15 years.
Still young, and from the great 2022 vintage. Showing good potential to become a 94+ point wine.
Rich and fruit forward. Complex with a soft mouthfeel. Soft, pure and elegant.
The high alcohol is very well integrated. Spicy and entertaining. Well structured and precise.
Good by itself as a sipping wine.

Very balanced and delicious. — 4 years ago
Substantially above a tasting that included more prestigious appellations and more expensive bottles, all in the same region and all in chenin blanc. Best VfM of a very enjoyable tasting. Nice balance and yet a subtle acidity leaving much to hope for latter years. Drink some, keep some. — 6 years ago

2019 vintage. Last tasted 10.30.24 (9.3). Popped for the staff as part of the usual Saturday Slurp. Previous visit was ridiculously delicious but undisciplined. All over the map and that was much of the charm...that rusticity and authenticity...but at Woodstock with 500K in attendance and the LSD-spiked punchbowl that ambushed The Who still found them nailing their set. Kinda similar to that. Yeah. So tonight's viz finds this bad boy relatively behaved with frontal palate richness and savory chocolate note along with a plushiness that was previously hinted at but unfulfilled. Gaminess gonzo for the most part as this seems to have settled into middle-age. Say it ain't so! Was crazy excellent in the punk rock era. Still excellent in the arena rock era. We'll see what happens in the crooner/standards era. 6.27.26. — 12 hours ago
