Château de Fieuzal

Grand Cru Classé de Graves Pessac-Léognan Red Bordeaux Blend 2019

2019 vintage. A blend of 65% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Petit Verdot according to the official website (whereas most journalists state 60% Cabernet Sauvignon). A mix of red and black fruit, typical Pessac-Léognan spiciness, with the Petit Verdot delivering violet notes. It has a very fresh mouthfeel with juicy fruit and refined tannins, combined with an attractive salinity and a long spicy finish. Very good indeed. — 2 months ago

Grand Vin De Graves Pessac-Léognan Red Bordeaux Blend 2019

2019 vintage. Owned by the Irish Quinn family. Seriously understated, it showed better the next day. Dark fruit, juicy acidity, spices and good mineral length. Patience required, but this should turn out a classic Fieuzal. Abv. 13,5%. — 5 months ago

Pessac-Léognan Sauvignon Blanc Sémillon 2010

With amazing buratta caprese and toasties. First sip was golden and floral French buttery. Then it became a bit green. The green is hangingin in my throat a bit. — 4 years ago
