Fraicheur équilibre discrétion — 6 months ago
Beautifully old world, with nice acidity, minerality, and refined fruit, with a beautiful perfume and notes of sharpie, black olive, ripe red fruits, a hint of cognac and even a lil smoke. — 9 months ago
Preferred this to Lorenzon’s Le Chapitre Mercurey, same vintage; aalso soft, but with better fruit and a great finish. — 7 years ago
I frankly don’t know how we had this bottle in storage but I saw it and decided to pull it and am glad that I did! Really a lovely premier cru burg. Quite a nice soft fruit and earth character. Maybe a notch less aromatically expressive than one would want but the seamlessness and depth on the palate makes up for it. Opened a few hours ahead of time but no decant and showed very nicely. Delicious. — 2 months ago

Lively biodynamic Bourgogne from Le Chapitre, west of the village of Chenôve on the far north of the Côte d’Or (and practically in the suburbs of Dijon). Historically one of the most famous of all Dijon wines (on par with the grand crus according to its winemaker) it nowadays lies just outside of of the Marsannay appellation. Some funk, ripe strawberry 🍓 and earthy notes in nose. Juicy — 6 years ago
