Medium ruby , slightly deeper than the Imperial , slightly brighter , more ruby rim . Quite deep and closed on the nose , more deeply fruited , blackberry , dark cherry , ripe red plum. This has more spice on the palate , with some herbal hints , blackberry , plum and black pepper . Good valume and a more juicy , fruit driven profile , quite firm tannins still and balanced acidity . Good length , with a darker fruited finish . Young still needs a bit more time, 2-5 years or so and will last well a further 10 . — 4 months ago
