This was a by-the-glass favorite at the Loire property where we stayed. Biodynamic Pinot d’Aunis. Lots of wild red berries complicated by earthy, peppery and floral tones — 7 months ago
Not as pepper-driven as previous vintage I’ve tasted but still enjoyable and highly quaffable. — 3 years ago
Ruby in color with a wide reddish rim.
Red fruits on the nose with light oak, chocolates and vegetable notes.
Medium plus in body with medium acidity.
Dry on the palate with raspberries, cherries, light oak, spices, vegetables, herbs, dark chocolates and black pepper.
Showing nice complexity and easy drinking. Good by itself or with food.
Will not get better from this point, though.
14.5% alcohol by volume.
91 points.

I like this a lot, it is something on it's own and a refreshing alternative from the usual Burgundy clone style. Rich, round and creamy. Some green notes (pleasant) and cardboard (not corcked). — a month ago
