2018 vintage. — 2 months ago
2020 vintage. Popped and poured. Unexpected levels of color. A bit of wool/lanolin in the high nose mixed with a youthful, Côte-Rôtie styled, spicy meat endeavor with flechettes of sulphur, cinnamon and really dark plum thrown into the mix. Buttressed by some toasty oak. Def intriguing. Tannic presence mid and finishing palates with a pleasant cache of richness front palate. Drinking nicely now but would love to stash a case or two and sample a bottle every six months or so. 7.10.24. — 4 months ago
Fabulous wine. Hint of spice and berries. Thoroughly enjoyed. — 7 days ago
With a three hour decant still very tannic and stemmy. Probably needs another five plus years — 12 days ago
Scent almost like prune and leather
Tannins are noticeable immediately, but are not overpowering. Medium body, dry with notes of dried fruit and grape peel — 2 months ago
