Grands Échézeaux Pinot Noir 2009

Simply brilliant! 2 hours slow ox and drank over the next three aromatically a bit dark, nose of tar, tobacco, dried rose petals wonderfully beautifully mid palate brilliantly balanced the wine is simply amazing! — 16 hours ago

Les Grands Chaillots Bourgogne Pinot Noir 2021

2021 vintage. Last tasted 07.23.24 (9.2). This bottle (like that one, tasted at a fave resto) chilled down a bit and traced over 1.25 hours. That bottle $120 then...now...same bottle $140 off the list. This visit a tad tighter and closer to the vest. Still very nice. 01.21.25. — 3 months ago

@Pinotman /// Andreas Yeah, a bit pricey but was in the mood for red Burg vs red Rhône, BDX or elsewhere. Rarely buy 750ml bottles when dining out (usually do btg) so a small splurge.
