Surprisingly young in the bottle with a beautiful garnet color and characteristic Bordeaux sous bois on the nose. Hints of cedar and toasted oak to complement dark fruit and ever present tannic structure. A delight! — 2 months ago
Cairo. Little splurge, but so good. 2015, some sediment. 70% Syrah, 20% Mourvèdre, 10% Carignan. Earthy. 14% — 8 months ago
This is 50% Syrah, 35% Grenache, and 15% Mourvèdre. The nose has bright, ripe berry fruit and lots of clean, stony minerality. Balanced, lively, and deep in the mouth. It’s got deep fruit in a dry frame, tannins soft and in the background, and nice acids. Minerality lingers in the finish. Great value and very tasty. — a month ago

Black cherry, red fruit too, med+ body, med tannins. Mostly carignan with Grenache and mouvedre, savoury and garrigue notes, wet stones too. Drink now or hold a few years. — 9 months ago
