Really one of the nicer and perhaps more complete Beaujolais I’ve had in a bit. Decanted 2+ hours, needed it as there is some real structure here that evened out nicely. Wonderful nose, quite typical. Lots of dark red fruit and a bit of earthy funk. Excellent length and acid on the finish. — 2 years ago
This is a fun wine. Big, boisterous nose on this. Loads of granitic earthiness up-front and lots of very ripe dark cherry behind. Terrific whack of pure and rich Beaujolais sappy juiciness hits the palate quickly. It’s a little loose and sexy, which is a very good thing, but its open-knit nature lacks a little of the coiled core that would ensure aging. So I’d drink these sooner rather than later for their guilt-free sensory promiscuity. — 3 months ago

Fleurie 2014 Château des Moriers, Miss Vicky Wine. Good Beaujolais Crus tend to age very well, and this is no exception. I tasted the 2013 and 2014 alongside, and while they both are very good, I prefer the more mineral Pinot Noir-like 2014. Exceptional value too. — 3 years ago
Excellent. A touch of extra fruity sweetness. — 4 years ago
2020 vintage. " La Brirette" is a small production from century-old vines in the "Les Moriers" part of Fleurie. Incredible intensity and depth, beautiful concentrated fruit, fresh acidity, and very impressive length.Hard to find with a tiny production (about 3000 bottles), but well worth the search. — a year ago
2020 vintage. Fleurie in a can (250 ml or 2 glasses) and it's delicious! Vicky strikes again! From granite and sandy soils from the fine Fleurie as yet unofficial cru "Les Moriers" , this is a crisp fruity, irrestible Gamay. Don't drink straight from the can,but serve it in nice wine glasses. On an off chance went for this Fleurie from Barnhill, paired perfectly with roast pork, cherries, and berries with a good structure, made for a special 52 inlaws wedding anniversary! — 2 months ago
