Celebration- one of our first dates. At Plimoth. Great depth and balance — a month ago
Deep ruby hue. Aromas and flavors of blackberry, cherry, earthy, eucalyptus, licorice, plum, and violet. Medium-plus body, with full, grainy tannins and medium-plus acidity. Engaging nose, smooth palate, long finish. A solid, well-made Rioja that's drinking beautifully now. Blend of Tempranillo (95%) and Graciano (5%). — 2 months ago

I love it. Perfect light red wine — 20 days ago
This a bargain wine for the price. Aromas of blackberry jam, plum, caramelized sweetness, leather, and a dash of pepper. Smooth with nice acidity and texture. Went great with our Paella!!!! — 2 months ago
Excellent classic Rioja with nice acidity and tamed tannins. NYE dinner at home from Selanne’s Steak Tavern with ATS. Also enjoyed some Billecart Salmon Brut Rose. — 15 days ago
El Molar is an unusual 100% Garnacha from a region known primarily for Monastrell/Mourvèdre. It is sourced from the estate’s youngest plots in El Molar, planted between 2004 and 2010 on sand and chalk soils. Aged in large foudres and barrels for 14 months. Light ruby color. Red fruit. Amazing Roja that I picked up at the wine steward in Pleasanton. Very concentrated with fruit and some nice Earth in the background. Want to pick up some more of this beauty very soon... — 3 months ago
Sipping Fine Wine
Ruby with aromas of ripe red fruit with floral and spice notes. A traditional Rioja blend of Tempranillo, Garnacha, Mazuelo, and Graciano. On the palate layers of fresh ripe berry flavors with spicy and smoky note with new oak wrapped in silky tannins, long finish ending with a mineral character, well balanced, great value! — 12 days ago
