Incredibly tannic upon open, but the nose showed there was depth and fruit. After about an hour, wine really opened. Sour cherry notes. Not sure nebbiolo, even 7 years old, is a good candidate for restaurant wine given the need for air. — 9 months ago
Single vineyard 100% Sangiovese, this 13’ Chianti Classical Riserva displays
fragrant nose of sour cherry, strawberry, thyme, balsamic, incense, hint of violet and barnyard. Great fruit intensity on the palate with lots of earthy nuances. High yet round acidity. Polished grippy tannins lead to an elegant long finish.

Bright Ruby with aromas of berries, leather and earthy notes, blend of 65% Sangiovese and 35% Cabernet Sauvignon. On the palate flavors of black cherry and blackberries with leather, cacao and earthy herbs. Long finish, round tannins ending with fruit and earthy character. Very nice!!
