Wonderful gift from my kids. If anything, we drank it too early. Just tremendously deep & lasting complexity. — 4 months ago
Great value at this price point!! — 2 months ago
From White Horse Wine and Sprits. Fun cork lol! Leather, sour cherry jam, woody, fizzy. Wow like literally every grape is in here lol 🤔 — 2 months ago
The wine looks very dark in the glass. The nose is bold, with big cherry, raspberry and blueberry aromas. There are also notes of oak, but just trace amounts. A caramel aspect floats from the glass periodically. The palate is full of bold fruit and a passel of tannins, as my grandparents might have said, had they ever talked about tannins. The fruit dominates the flavor profile. The name on the label isn’t too far off. You might think it is a CDP while sipping it. — 5 months ago
Drinking well right now. Soft tannins. Dark red fruit and plum notes with a long and smooth finish. — 2 months ago
Inky in color with a short reddish rim.
Medium plus in body with medium acidity.
Dry on the palate with mild complexity.
Showing black fruits with wood, earth, light herbs, chocolates, tobacco leaf and peppercorn.
Medium finish with round tannins and tangy cherries.
This is a nice and interesting tannant from Uruguay. Smoky, spicy, and feels like a Californian Syrah.
Needs a couple of hours to open up properly.
Good by itself or with food.
14% alcohol by volume.

Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of an hour with some friends while we played pool. The 2018 pours a dark garnet with a near opaque core; medium+ viscosity with moderate staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of dark fruit: black plum, cassis, tobacco, cocoa, ferrous minerals, gentle, dried cool spices. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ tannins and medium acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium. Masculine and pretty impressive value. I would imagine this would be a solid paring with cassoulet. Drink now and through 2028. — 4 days ago
