Dark ruby color. Scent and taste of blackberry and baking spices. Well-structured, mild tannins. Absolutely lovely for the price. Found it at Trader Joe's. — 3 months ago

Put this on ice, and I’ll chose it over a cold beer any day. This is the epitome of a fun summer wine. It looks and smells like beach water for starters. The mouthfeel is joyful with tropical and citrus notes and slightly effervescent, acidic and honied. Just perfect for this insaciable heatwave. — 2 years ago

Actually a blend of Cab Sauv, Castelão, Syrah, Touriga Nacional and Alicante Bouschet. This wine is a very dark purple, almost inky. The nose is also dark, showing blackberry notes alongside savory tobacco, spice and earth, all in a very smokey framework. The palate of this interesting blend is nearly stunning. Tannins have a good grip, but the blue fruit flavors are amazing and the acidity leaves the sipper salivating. It seems bizarre to me that this wine cost less than $10. It drinks like it should cost much more.
