3rd label of Latour... Incredible! Sell at k&l apparently and the wine merchant on Santana row — 3 years ago
Medium-full. Drinks nicely after airing out. Would enjoy again! — 5 months ago
An airy, effusive and downright beautiful wine is the 2018 Taganan from the Tenerife Envínate property of modernist Spanish winemakers Laura Ramos, Jose Martínez, Roberto Santana and Alfonso Torrente. Created from 100-200 year old vines on volcanic soils, it’s a delicate, restrained wine with a gorgeous, smoky bouquet of sour cherry, strawberries and Provençal herbs; the palate, meanwhile, is saturated with very fine tannins, almost imperceptible acidity and nice length. Served lightly chilled, this is an exciting wine which should gain further interest with age. — 2 years ago
I used to sell a lot of Carmelo Rodero’s wines and am an acquaintance of his and his daughters. They make fantastic wines, I was told that in 2017 they didn’t make this wine because it was such a challenging vintage (frost, hail and extreme summer heat) that the few grapes they had needed to be saved for the crianza and above. It has been a long time since I had last tried this wine and I was very impressed. Pronounced aromas and flavours and a nice fine grained tannins. #qpr #riberadelduero #spain — 4 years ago
It shows the power of Ribera, even in a wet vintage like 2018. tannins are present. Expressive nose of ripe cherries, plums, chocolate, good acid, showing some tertiary, long life ahead. — 6 months ago

Absolutely delicious - one of the wines I’ve been most surprised of recently. Would never have guessed Argentinian Malbec blind - has a real old world character. Probably would have guessed something Italian with the excellent fruit/earth balance and the great lifting acid on the finish. Really very nice, and quite a value at $28. — 2 months ago
