First birthday wine for Tiva’s 30th! The nose is prominent and perfumes, with notes of fresh leather, velvet, red clay, cigar smoke, blueberry jam, overripe plums. Medium bodied, with a MEATY palate. The finish is longgg, with prominent bloody notes, iron, vanilla, charcoal, dark red cherries slimy velvet with a complex lingering finish. We’ll layered, The cabernet shows up first, Merlot second, with PV dancing in the background. Really a great entry to the Latour line and does not show like an 8 year old wine!

Out of a magnum. Not surprisingly this took ages to wake up after opening but around the 4 hour mark i really started enjyoing this. Would definately benefit from more time in the bottle
