Blend of mostly Garnatxa and Carinena, aged in American oak, deep Ruby with aromas of ripe berry fruits, spice and oak. On the palate flavors of blackberry, currants and raspberry with vanilla, smoky cedar and licorice. Fine chewy tannins, medium+ finish ending with fruit, oak, sweet spice and earthy mineral character. Nice! — 3 months ago

Royal St. Robert Cuvee named in honor of Dante and Carlo Mondavi's grandfather who taught them to be committed to excellence. Medium Ruby color with layered aromas of fresh berry fruits with floral and smoky spice notes. On the palate flavors of strawberry and raspberry with cigar box, oak, tea, citrus and herb floral notes. Well balanced, savory fine tannins, long finish ending with oaky earthy notes. 2023/9. There’s a wild, leafy element to this which is quite appealing. Flavorful, tangy Sangiovese — 7 months ago
Enjoyable… but kind of wanted it to be a bit earthier. maybe lacked some complexity. — 8 months ago
