Had this in cellar! Outstanding! From the makers of Sassicaia, Deep Ruby with red & black fruits and floral aromas of this 60% Cab Sauv 40% Merlot blend. On the palate flavors of cherry, currants and blackberry with cinnamon, licorice, cacao and earthy notes, well integrated. Fine tannins, approachable, a wine with a solid structure, elegant and smooth, long finish, great mouth feel ending with fruit and spicy oak. Still had room to age. Nice! — 2 years ago
A beautiful floral nose with violets, cedar and some hints of licorice. Medium bodied palate that is juicy with good fruit, some power yet elegant with nice silky tannins. Approchable despite the youth with one hour decanted. Delicious.
Passé une heure en carafe. Un beau nez floral, violettes, cèdre, un peu de réglisse. Une bouche de puissance moyenne , en souplesse aussi, mais juteuse et avec du fruit, du corps et une trame tannique assez prononcée mais quand même agréable de texture, vraiment approchable en jeunesse et délicieux. 90-91 — 4 years ago

Fruity open nose. After an hour in a decanter, the wine delivers well, with primary notes of crunchy red fruits. Fresh and lively, well contained, a lot of finesse here with already notes of undergrowth, humus. Fine, depth. Nice aging potential.
Nez ouvert fruité. Après une heure en carafe le vin se livre bien, sur des notes primaires de fruits rouges croquants. La fraîcheur et vive, bien contenue, beaucoup de finesse ici avec déjà des notes de sous bois, humus qui commencent déjà à poindre. Finesse profondeur. Joli potentiel de vieillissement. — 3 years ago

For absolutely no reason whatsoever. Bought a case when my daughter was born and cracked the first one open. Good fruit, nice tannins. Poured into the carafe to see how that changes it. Not a killer year or stored under perfect conditions but still stands as a classic. Drinking with it my daughter born in 1998! — 6 years ago

Cult wine lovers rejoice! This Swiss Pinot noir has some Smokey and almost sweet characteristics on the nose, while the palate of black cherries and tobacco. The winemaker cold soaks the grapes prior to fermentation for maximum extraction of aroma and flavor.
