Buy this up. It doesn't get better for $20. Incredible value, and will see another 10 years at least, and in the world of 2015 Bordeaux so far, none are cheap. Black plum skin, black cherries, graphite, chalky mineral, tobacco, black licorice, bell pepper, mocha; tannins finely integrated, and focused in the wine, with medium body and already showing promise.

Beautiful late summer evening and a delicious meal shared with this guy...decanted for an hour of so and expressing a very fruit forward nose with pipe tobacco elements. To the palate we have dark plum and cherry followed by more pipe tobacco and licorice. Mild tannins and med finish. Drink now as I do not believe it could stand up to any real aging... nice though.

Great recommendation from Total Wine! Really nice Bordeaux with a lot of rich, jamminess. Can get a little too oaky if you let it sit for too long. But who would do that?

Jul 16th, 2018Red fruit, cherry, vanilla, leather, Earth. Well balanced between sweet and dry. Good tannins, not too strong. I like it!

#steakandclaret night. Paired nicely with a pan seared ribeye.
This is another Chateau owned by the makers of Chateau Dalem.
Nose of plums and black cherry start to reveal some earth and graphite notes with time in the decanter. Palate with more red fruits. After a couple of hours more mocha flavors emerge. Medium, well integrated tannins and a relatively long finish in the 40 second range. Like many of the '15's I've had, you can drink now for primary fruit, or age a few years. Nice, but I do prefer the Chateau Dalem for a few more dollars.
