Cult wine lovers rejoice! This Swiss Pinot noir has some Smokey and almost sweet characteristics on the nose, while the palate of black cherries and tobacco. The winemaker cold soaks the grapes prior to fermentation for maximum extraction of aroma and flavor.
Between the 3 wines, the transition from red to blue to black fruits, and development of smokey qualities epitomizes the different terroirs and techniques Pinot makers are using across the world.

Quite light crimson pink core wide light pink rim . On the palate nice red fruits, cherry , red plum and also ripe strawberry , a toasty note from the oak also apparent . Slight warmth of alcohol on the nose . On the palate more of the ripe red fruits , a spicy , toasty note also . Acidity is nicely balanced , refreshing. Long on the palate , well balanced finish , just perhaps showing that touch of warmth noted on the nose . As it changes in the glass a more wild almost meaty note appears. Nice now but will improve over 3 -5 years
