I love this lighter weight, more aromatic Grenache. Well worth a look. — 5 years ago
This is my second review of this build from the fantastic 2017 vintage… 46% Muscat Ottonel provides sturdy viscosity while 22% vermintino + 16% Viognier + 16% petit manseng energizes the acid and structure. Altogether elegant while the acid from 2 1/2 years of bottle aging is weaning a bit… It provided beautiful lime sweetness and verve when paired with our caprice salad on baguette. Opulent floral nose and elevated mouth feel make for a very distinguished build… On par with some of the finest Rieslings on the East Coast for reference. — 6 years ago
Maybe it’s just the Hawaii’n mind trick but I get pineapple with a touch of nuttiness on the finish (Macadamia?). Good stuff. — 8 years ago
Amazing vintage of Peter Michael. Delicious. — 9 years ago
2011. Was great with caprice salad. The one sterling that I really like. — 10 years ago
Had with friends with an orange cake desert and it was perfect. Cognac like aromas and flavors without the alcohol. Candied orange peel with a whisper of saffron. — 2 years ago
Quite nice - even as saignee method. Yes, a rich extraction, but not heavy handed. Seems to have a touch of residual sugar to balance the thicker mouth feel and generous acidity. Pleasant sipper and worked with Caprice on baguette too :) — 7 years ago
Bold, fresh, juicy wine with a hint of effervescence with the start of each sip. Beautiful fruity aromas. — 8 years ago
What a wonderful find. A very flavorful Mendozan — 8 years ago
Had it as wine pairing with prawns at Caprice restaurant. Four Seasons Hotel. Hong Kong. — 9 years ago
This was my second bottle (spaced 1 yr apart) and while it drinks like a SauvBlanc, this bottle seemed to have lost about 25% of its acid. Nevertheless, this paired wonderfully with our winter caprice baguettes ( think bruschetta ). That touch of lime is very pleasant and the minerality refreshing! Nose of apple/pear and tropical with a strong mineral backing and a hint of sea breeze. Ripping acidity and minerality with a long lasting finish. Despite the bright fruit that may lead one to expect a touch of sweetness this wine maintained a bone dry character. — 8 years ago
Order a case if near 19 a bottle . Somewhat complex, earthy, rich but not grapy 2015 vintage — 9 years ago

This is currently awesome and should be drunk right now with reckless abandon. — 3 months ago
