Very old white wine. Golden hue. Smells a bit like golden delicious apples, Bartlett pear, honey and sweetened lemon. Flavors are hint oxidized, but still tart and bright. Plenty of citrus. Lots of tannin. This is adventurous and delicious white. Wonder what it was like closer to 2014. At this stage it’s a bit like my favorite kind of Chardonnay. Smooth and round, but zippy too. — 2 months ago
you’d never think a sangiovese / merlot / cab sav / syrah mix at this price point would have so much life to it — 3 months ago
Passito-style (100% Malvasia fella Lipari grapes) dessert wine. Beautiful amber color. Aromas and flavors of orange and apricot jam with a additional hints of honey, grapefruit, nuts, raisins and lemon zest. A touch of salinity makes this dessert wine seem less sweet. Medium viscosity, waxy texture and bristling acidity. Quite complex and well balanced. Thank you for sharing this one, Ron B! — 6 months ago

The 2019 Carema Etichetta Bianca is laced with sweet pipe tobacco, cedar, mint, dried flowers, crushed rocks and Alpine herbs. This is an especially floral, savory vintage for the Etichetta Bianca, a wine that impresses with its energy, verve and class. The only thing missing here is a bit of freshness and depth.
