I rarely drink Chardonnay or any white wine, so I struggle to evaluate the wine, but here goes. Friday is fish day, right? In my rather significant inventory of wine, I could only find two whites... a champagne and this Chardonnay. The nose is pear and raw potato. The pear weakens upon tasting and gives way to grapefruit and green apples and maybe unripe apricots. I think wine is okay plus! — 8 years ago

Interesting and tasty red from Pulgia, not sure where obtained. Dark Ruby. Forest, mushroom and ripe dark fruits, keep one sniffing. minerals and acids in balance with almost velvety coating on palate. Long lingering finish. Wonder how it tastes when young. Found previous notes, AA18 red blend Predominantly Nero di Troia with Montepulciano per wine searcher. Last bottle. — 4 years ago

A solera blend that was a wow. Perfumed nose with cedar chips, musty forest floor. Soft tannins, Merlot like mellow taste profile really well structured and balanced. Just a true pleasure to drink. — 8 years ago

Stewed prunes white pepper cedar, newer oak vanillins. Face melting tannins, blacker pepper and plums in the mouth, more perfume. Not much concentration perhaps why there is some montepulciano in the blend, so I'd be tempted to say drink now. I love it, but its kinky with the tannins. Not for everyone. — 7 years ago
