Deep purple in color; black plum, black cherries, and black pepper on the nose; medium plus acidity; medium tannins; tastes like blackberry jam, plum sauce, and a hint of eucalyptus with a long peppery finish. Nellie likes it with Popeyes Spicy Fried Chicken. I was surprised it paired so well with spicy chicken. Be forewarned that it made the chicken even more spicy, but the flavors went really well together. I love this wine. — 8 months ago
Gifted this by my client Helen for Christmas — 2 years ago
2014 still looks very young, deep ruby, full body, ripe fruit, black, fruity, med tannin but smooth, long finish , very well balanced — 3 months ago
After finding Australian cabs so and so, I am pivoting back to Shiraz. That’s where AUS shines, and this wine is a great example. Deep and intense flavors, structure and a long finish. Delicious. — 6 months ago
I haven’t had this wine since the late 2000’s.
As good as I remember it.

Pale yellow, excellent clarity. Tactile, fine grain sandpaper like, so perhaps an acquired case for some. A clean nose, lemon and lemon peel flavors with depth, great acidity. A deep dive into the variety; not for the faint of heart. After 90 minutes the skin tannins do mellow so you might decant this. — 4 months ago

2012 vintage. Heavy/full body. Aggressively-oaked nose (still...after a decade+). Dark as motor oil. Plenty of ripe fruits with the entire endeavor in (somewhat) check. Some tannins bringing up the rear after the call was placed. Not amongst my usual jams but well made. Punch/takeoff for another two decades should it come to that. 4.21.24. — 11 days ago
