Unfiltered Dry Creek Valley Zinfandel 2022

Unbelievable! So tasty right from first pour. It’s big but there’s a lightness to it that is so refreshing. — 4 days ago

Jordan Vineyard & Winery

Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 1986

Brief , informal notes . Medium garnet , garnet terracotta rim . Quite mature and tertiary with coffee , cacau , dark cassis and smoky notes . On the palate there are some sweet ripe dark fruits, meaty notes and a tobacco , soy tinged finish . Quite rounded sweet tannins and balanced acidity . Medium length finish , though just a little one dimensional , this shows pretty well overall . Drink now and over the next 5 years . — a month ago

Geyserville Sonoma County Zinfandel Blend 2013

I love Ridge wine… I have not had a bottle that I didn’t like. I had a vertical tasting. This is one of them. Amazing. — 15 days ago

Dry Creek Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2021

Best wine list deal in SF and maybe the country! So good. Needed decant but was so complex and tasted amazing with the prime rib. Cocoa, tea, a bit of wood, dark fruits. So lovely. — 4 days ago

Oberon

Napa County Cabernet Sauvignon 2021

Under $20 at Costco. Dark fruits, medium bodied, a little sugar, light tannins, easy oak and spice finish. Pairs well with salmon. Crowd pleaser. 👍 — a day ago

Au Bon Climat

Santa Barbara County Pinot Noir 2014

2014 drunk in 2024. I kept a bottle of this $14(!!) wine—2015 price—for 8 years on a hunch that it would hold up, and it did. I don’t know what it costs now, but back then it was head and shoulders the best American supermarket wine. — 21 days ago
