Another beer from the holiday package. 🎁

A nice nose with toasted malt, dark fruits and a yeasty background.

Flavourful, dark, rich Belgian malts, creamy mouthfeel and dark fruit.

It opened up more as it became warmer - some spicy notes I hadn't noticed earlier.

This is an excellent Belgian strong dark.

Best before 2038, but there is no way I could get my hands on enough to test that date as they would disappear well before then. — 4 years ago

NV | special cuvée Gouden Carolus Whisky infused | excellent beer, paired with a chicken burger with a home made bleu cheese mayonaise with Achelse Kluis Belgian Blue Cheese. Awesome pairing. Makes very happy! — 6 years ago
