It says Yocha Dehe Wintun Nation, Clarksburg AVA on the bottle. Color is very dark. Dark as the night. Aroma is sharp and heavy. Red meat meets cherry sauce. Hint of mint. Flavors are complex with tobacco to go with the lovely berry jam side. Savory side too. And plenty of tannic bite going on. This is a big boy of a wine. Lots of enjoyable stuff in the bottle. Reminds me of the Uruguayan stuff that brought me to a love of Tannat. — 4 years ago
This wine is dark in the glass. A whiff and you know this wine is a “boy” and not a girl. No floral fruity notes. But, rather, it is smoky leathery with hints of buttery browned apricots. The finish is my favorite part! It lingers long and bold and beautiful. I like this wine a lot! Context of our enjoyment of this wine: we are still in lockdown due to Coronavirus pandemic.. trying one new bottle per night. But, this also is the anniversary of my father’s passing, forty three years ago. May the pandemic pass quickly and may the memory of my father be honored, he was a good guy. — 5 years ago

Nice, dry. Unoriginal but pleasant enough. Wouldn’t complain if I was served it, but wouldn’t seek it out. Purchased via Naked. — 4 years ago
Open for 7 hours. Complex and evolving wine. Violets, tar, leather, tobacco, blackberry fruits, and rosemary too. You can feel a little of the oak usage on the nose still. Medium plus weight with tannin outshining acidity at this point. Blackcherry fruit meets tart cranberry. This is big boy Brunello with serious aging potential. Sit for at least 5 years as this will only improve. — 6 years ago
Well well well what in the bargain wine do we have here! I picked this up because it fits in the budget and meets a pretty good alcohol percentage for a single mom! A whole 8 bucks! Surprisingly this is absolutely delicious! Def a sweet red like I adore and I love the heavy lingering taste! If you’re looking for a sweet red with a nice buzz here’s your girl! They call her bald head red! — 7 years ago
