My wife’s new favorite. Nicely structured for a Tempranillo — 2 days ago
A plum, vanilla and leather. High acidity, but, soft tannins. Very good tempranillo, from reliable producer. — 19 days ago
Poured into a decanter about an hour prior to service; no formal notes due to the setting. It has been a few years since I last enjoyed the 2015 and I am happy to report that it is now very much open for business. The fruit is on full display and the oak is much better integrated. The structure is still quite firm but I found everything to be in better balance than it was upon release. This is squarely and its drinking window and should remain that way through the remainder of this decade and likely, well beyond. Drink now through 2030+ — 2 months ago
Dark fruits, cedar, vanilla, touch of grip. — 10 days ago
Faustino I Blanco Gran Reserva 2019 — 10 days ago
Notes of raspberry and dark chocolate on the nose. Very well balanced taste not too dry or sweet, some minerals notes. Excellent. — 18 days ago

Cork went backwards into the bottle, but was intact. Lovely medium-red color, faint bricking on edge, dried red fruits, subtle American oak, very suave on the palate, yet still shows some tannic grip into the long, lingering finish, I’ve long adored these 1980s/early 1990s Pesquera “regular” Ribera del Duero tintos, which avoided the much more lavishly oaked Janus Riserva cuvée, and most amazingly, how long these $18-20 regular cuvées will age!! — 2 days ago
