Great wine by itself or with food. Robust but not overpowering. — 6 months ago
Vino que se va expresando con el paso de los minutos, recomiendo decanto! Muy buen maridaje con pato, tártara de jamón serrano y pulpo asado! — 7 months ago
First time in a while with the Muga Reserva, one of the region’s most ubiquitous wines – and often one of its great bargains, too. Of the various vintages that I’ve had, I can’t say I notice a consistent style, but the quality is there more often than not. The 2019 is a polished, suave affair but a little over-extracted for my taste. Though there is some savoury quality on the palate, I wouldn’t say the wine is very demonstrative of this region’s appeal. That said, it is very harmonious throughout, and the wines of Muga age well, so I look forward to seeing how this fares in another five years. — a month ago
Blend of 70% Tempranillo and 30% Garnacha, aged for 14 months in combo of European and French oak, a new red from Muga. Deep Ruby color with aromas of berry fruit, spices and herb notes. On the palate flavors of blackberry and cherry with cacao, black pepper and slight citrus character. Fine tannins, medium+ finish ending with fruit, spice and herb floral mineral character. Good now! — 2 months ago

Medium bodied but full enough to hold up to the medium spice from chef Fernando Olea's Sazon in Santa Fe. Duck breast with Mole Verde paired well. — a month ago
