Meant to drink this earlier than 8 years out, but gratified that the fruit and other elements were still there and working in tandem. — a year ago
Always so pleasant to taste this beautiful Syrah from Morocco, both strong and very well balanced with these flowery aromas of violet and pepper. Cool to 15 degrees to balance the slightly marked alcoholic power.
— a year ago
Excellent!! This is a wonderful zin! Just enjoyed a bottle with flank steak, asparagus and oven roasted potatoes. A perfect blend of grape and berry; so smooth on the palate. Highly recommend. — 2 years ago
Fantastic bottle, smooth without being filled with fake sweeteners Store & Distillery notes as follows A True Joven with 3-4 yr aged anejo. Aromas of sweet tropical fruit, sweet veggies, pepper, pineapple and coconut. The palate brings a salt hit with Caspian, corn husk. No diffusion, clean texture. D&M Tasting Notes
A craft sipping tequila hand blended by certified Master Tequilero Guillermo Barroso Arnaud. The Master Tequilero certification is similar to a master Sommelier, but with the additional depth of expertise in distillation and chemistry to develop a specific style. There are currently only nine Master Tequilero's in the world.
Every step in the production process is very deliberate and selected for a specific reason in the art of the blend and balance of this true Joven. The bright agave flavor should be just as recognizable as the extra anejo tequila.
Single Estate Highland Agave, twice copper pot distilled, and blended with a 3-4yr extra anejo from ex bourbon barrels.
A light Crystalline filtration system is used to keep as much of the terroir and organoleptic properties as possible.
No diffusers, no added sugar, single estate agave only, and a very meticulous distillation process.
Tasting Notes: vanilla, sherry, oak at the front of palate, green tea and d’anjou pear on the finish, nice acidity. Blanco notes of agave still palatable in tandem with the barrel notes of the extra anejo. Distillery Notes — 8 months ago
What a perfume... Martha McClellan and Wesley Steffens worked in tandem to craft this inaugural release. The fruit is sourced from two estate vineyards farmed on top of Spring Mountain, as well as the Beckstoffer Melrose Vineyard in Rutherford, CA. The resulting wine shows very focused yet fresh and vibrant aromatics, polished tannins with great tension, smooth texture throughout the wine ending with a very pleasing and lengthy finish. This wine will drink very well upon release, as well will continue to reward with aging in the cellar for many years to come. — a year ago
Nice red blend. Good tannins. Rich without being overpowering. — 10 months ago
Delicious with an aftertaste of plum. Fun night with Michael and Mackensie. Mackensie bought from Tandem. — a year ago
This is much better on night 2. It is a style that is mid-way between purposefully underripe Aussie Semillon and riper, waxy, honeyed interpretations. Nose has tart kumquat in tandem with a Semillon waxy, lanolin thing, but toned down. In the mouth, it juxtaposes the dark, low toned character of Semillon with good acids and freshness. Very nice. — 2 years ago
Another great red wine blend out of Spicewood Vineyards in the beautiful Texas Hill Country — 2 years ago

Interesting Syrah, deep fruits, full bodied, but higher tannins than some — a month ago
