Yummy Sardinian Cannonau, different sites claim this wine possesses the most polyphenols compared to others. Granted it's vineyard is the 2nd largest on the island, & the weather by description sounds ideal to support 🌞

More funk than Rick James but not in a bad way. Old world love blasting you with strawberry and cherry. It’s super freaky.

Earthy, deep purple color, black cherry and blackberry, stone mineral. If you’ve ever seen pictures of wild, rocky inland Sardegna, this is a perfect compliment to it. I don’t think it’ll be to everyone’s taste but it certainly was great for mine...delicious with chunky caponata on grilled toast. Some nero d’avola have even fuller body, but this is quite rich. 13.5% alc by vol. Less than $15. Sardegna’s variety of Grenache.
