Intense, deep, powerful but incredibly approachable red blend from the Douro River, a red blend of Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca and Tinta Roriz. This combination will please all styles of wine drinkers. The flavors of red compote and a hint of baked red cherry pie and a@touch of toast and vainilla provides a wonderful mouthfeel. Compared to the last Becker dry Spatlese tasted, this was less inviting: a bit more mineral & stony, with none of the fruit flavors associated with Riesling to be found. Very chiseled & imagine needs time in bottle/ long decant. You can still taste the precision though. — 10 months ago

Deep ruby in color; smoke, cigar box, and black cherries on the nose; medium acidity; medium plus tannins; tastes like hibiscus, cherries, plums, and a little eucalyptus with a long finish. I didn't think I would like this wine based on the aromas, but I am really enjoying it. — 7 months ago

You know where this wine kicks ass? In Kauai. So tropical, well balanced, good fruit, but awesome acidity with lemons, some pineapple, maybe stone fruit, so freaking delicious and perfect with seafood. — 12 days ago
