Nice Brunello and a real value at Wegmans’ price. Blackberry and stewed plum, cinnamon and leather, chewy tannins, juicy. Not too heavy. — 9 months ago

Great Arinto. The Azores. Love it! — 4 years ago
Incredible bouquet but took a long time to open up and for the mineral and acid to mellow. Smooth and gentle when it finally did. Would only go for cellared bottles. — 7 months ago

Aug 2025: aeration in open bottle during 2 hours while sipping. Awesome, very elegant, deep and structured, amazing nose and long aftertaste. Best Gattinara I ever had. At peak — 7 years ago
The 2020 Gattinara is elegant and lifted. Crushed red berry fruit, cinnamon and orange peel grace this ethereal, nuanced Gattinara. Bright saline notes and sweet red-toned fruit build into the long, persistent finish. Understated and silky, the 2020 is exquisite. All this needs is a few years to soften.
