One of my favorite grape varietals! This is just lovely! In the bottle for 9 years so it has aged beautifully. The fruit has faded and it is just pure Pinot Blanc - the grape! — 9 days ago
Exceptional Sauvignon Blanc! Layers upon layers of nuances for the nose and palate! I am getting white fruits, tropical fruits, white flowers, gripping acidity, honeycomb, and minerals! Mid palate has a wonderful creaminess then leads into a 45 sec+ finish. With this description.. not
even beginning to dig deep (to tired)! I really enjoy wines from Alexander Valley!

Tonight's wine that I have chosen is the 2018 Saint Clair Family Estate Origin Series Sauvignon Blanc from Marlborough, New Zealand.
On the nose there is grapefruit, tangerine, lime, peach, herbaceous and minerality.
Onnthe palate there is lime, grapefruit, tangerine, grass, herbaceous and minerality.
This wine is medium bodied smooth creamy mouthfeel with medium + acidity and a long crisp clean citrus minerality driven finish. A beautiful wine that you can have by itself or with a wonderfully prepared sea bass. Let's have a great beginning to our weekend and please be safe and healthy. Nostrovia! 🥂🥂🥂🥂 — 13 hours ago
Nose has white flowers, sliced Bosc pear, sliced lychee, apricot skin, dry mason sand, banana peel and moist oak barrel (no char).
Palate has pear pureé, lemon zest, under-ripe pineapple, limestone water, minor oak influence with a medium finish, medium acidity.
More complexity than the Village, this Lieu-Dit bottle has more weight and structure. Suggest holding 2-4Y; 2023-25. ~$23 — 6 days ago
Very good value well-made Sancerre. Tons of wet chalky minerality on the nose. Lots of Sancerre (and especially Pouilly Fume) have varying levels of herbal verging into cat pee herbiness, but this has none. It’s got a bit of crisp fruit but this is really all about the stones. Crisp, round-textured, and stony in the mouth. Very nice. — 9 days ago
Nose has yellow apple slice, lychee slice, washed lime, dry chalk and orange blossom.
Palate has warmed sweet green apple, lime peel, lime slice, crisp salinity, steely notes with medium level acidity. A short but fun finish, a solid wine for enjoyment; Purity of the appellation.
I am in agreement with some professional critics, the vintage of this Village wine appears a little softer than other years. This will be an earlier drinker, but would be rewarded with a brief hold of 1-2 years, 2022-23. ~$20 — 6 days ago
