What you want in a Brunello. This was excellent. Paired well with Rosemary Steak,
Potatoes, etc. fantastico! — 4 years ago
Fantastically Smooth! — 2 months ago
— 4 years ago
Where red wine started for me — 4 years ago
Before we take a sip, we must embrace this bouquet! The bouquet was amazing. Full of blackberries, cedar and oak. On the palet, this full bodied wine is on the dryer side but paired well with a Tuscan pizza! I guess it comes down to what you eat it with?! The Italians are the wine experts but the Portuguese do a great job! — 4 years ago
Muito bom com meu carbonara!!!! — 4 years ago
Really terrific surprise. Portuguese Shiraz? Beautiful aromas of dark red cherry and plums with a hint of eucalyptus. Red fruit flavors with hints of blackberry. Ruby red color and medium finish. Great! Revisited in May 2022. Same notes apply. Nice balance. Revisited again in March 2023. Still quite good. — 5 years ago

Rotari Arte Italiana Rosé NV
TrentoDOC, Trentino-Alto Adige, Italy 🇮🇹
Overview
A Pinot Nero-driven Metodo Classico Rosé showcasing alpine freshness with delicate red-fruit character. Elegant in structure but stylistically more restrained than expressive.
Aromas & Flavors
Wild strawberry, red currant, pink grapefruit, and subtle rose petal. Light pastry hints appear briefly before a dry, crisp close.
Mouthfeel
Medium-light body with energetic acidity and fine mousse. Clean and refreshing, though less layered and less complex than its vintage sibling.
Food Pairings
Tuna crudo, smoked salmon, charcuterie, caprese salad, light poultry dishes.
Verdict
Nicely crafted and fresh, though not the standout of the lineup. Balanced and pleasant, yet lacking the extra dimension that elevates memorable Rosé sparklers.
Did You Know?
Rosé TrentoDOC is typically made with Pinot Nero, either via short skin contact or blending a small portion of red wine into the base.
🍷 Personal Pick
A respectable rosé expression, but not my stylistic favorite from the house. — a month ago
