Interesting and approachable. Sunflower seeds. Subtle toasted coconut, white chocolate. Bruised peaches. — 2 months ago
Clear pale yellow with crisp flavors of pear and honeysuckle with a hint of creaminess and strong minerality. This aromatic wine with its high acid, medium bod and clean but long finish is something I would definitely revisit again and again. This is a varietal and region worth continued exploration. — 5 months ago
Deep red and oddly hoppy aftertaste. Plums and cranberries with a silky feel. — 2 years ago
Another excellent vintage of a wine made from an ancient varietal. Scarlet red color with blue highlights. Aromas of bramble berries, smoke and wet soil. Dark berry fruit on the palate with hints of spices, fresh herbs, graphite and black pepper. Distinct mineral note on the finish. Brimming with acidity. Quite savory and expressive. A unique experience. — 2 months ago
Cherry forward. Peppery finish. Great with red meats — 3 months ago
My first Armenian wine. Made with Haghtanak grape, a Soviet-era hybrid between Armenian varietals and Georgian Saperavi. From vineyards in the Ararat Valley, 35 km west of Yerevan. Fermented in steel tanks and aged 7 months in Caucasian oak barrels. Dark ruby/purple color. Dark fruit, vanilla and oak on the nose. Some herbal notes. Full-bodied, big, quite bold and round on the palate. Pomegranate flavors. Tannic. Good value — 2 years ago
A garnet and ruby color with a broad reddish rim. Little bits of micro pieces of volcanic sediment with vibrant notes of plums, currants, cherries and spices. Lots of peppery spices on the palate along with oak, cherries and blueberries. This medium bodied Armenian red is supple and yet balanced with a ton of red fruits with gentle tannins and a zippy finish! Yum!! — 2 months ago
