Fabulous! We had it with a chicken andouille gumbo, and it was wonderful. The next day we had it with shrimp in a spicy cream sauce, and it also worked perfectly. Yum! — 3 months ago
@Delectable Wine - This is the Andis Friedlander Block Old Vine Zinfandel Sierra Foothills. Very nicely composed. Brambly fruit, crushed earthy gravel. Not overly extracted. Some fine tannin supporting the structure for a few years aging. — 10 months ago

Dark fruit, earthy tones, solid finish. — 9 months ago
Yes please mag I have another. Because my synesthesia causes me to liken wines to fabrics and/air clothes I’m calling this day robe wine. Silky and comforting but with equal parts kick the keep you on your toes because the last thing you need is a day robe to put you to sleep. — 4 years ago

This is the Andis Wines Friedlander Block Old Vine Zin from the Shenandoah Valley AVA in Amador County. Picked it up on our trip there last August. It’s a big boi. Intense brambly fruit on the nose. A bit of oak. Rich but balanced in the mouth. Packing plenty of finely-grained tannins and de ent acids. Only 14.2%. Really nice. — 16 hours ago
