Almost too sweet. Good with Asian food — 7 years ago
Good wine. Definitely need some time uncorked before drinking. 2012 — 8 years ago
Pleasantly surprised with this wine... first time having a Vespolina wine. This grape is native to Piedmont and has Nebbiolo grape in its ancestry. Only 12.5% alcohol, classically-made acid-driven red with soft tannins. The tannins grew stronger in the glass I was having 24 hours later. For $24, this is a super value wine I have had in a long time. — 4 years ago
Med-full body, balance of summer ripe fruits, spice and herbal notes. — 7 years ago
Knowing 2011 was a poor vintage for Sonoma I tried this with doubts, but am pleasantly surprised. Good, but not huge tannins and bright acidity follow an interesting rusty minerality. A very new world style forced to discover it's old world ancestry — 9 years ago
